General Description
Solid kiln dried wood construction. Southern Yellow Pine. Oil based stain fi nish.
Construction of Panels
2-ply – first ply 1″ x 4″ and 1″ x 6″ boards, outer frame 1″ x 4″s

Panels are glued and nailed with 1 1⁄4″ nails then clamped in hydraulic presses. The hydraulic press-
es generate 90,000 pounds of pressure, bonding the plys of the panels together with 140 – 180 psi.

Panels that are not put together with hydraulic presses and the above specifications are not accept-
able.

Construction of Top Panel
2-ply – top ply 1″ x 4″ and 1″ x 6″ boards. Bottom ply 1″ x 4″s
Top panels are glued and nailed, then clamped in hydraulic presses. The hydraulic presses generate
90,000 pounds of pressure, bonding the plys of the panels together with 140 – 180 psi. Panels that
are not put together with hydraulic presses and the above specifications are not acceptable.
Construction of Shelves
Shelves are edge-glued panels, fastened to 3⁄4″ x 1 1⁄2″ x 19 1⁄2″ wood ledgers with glue and 1 1⁄4″
staples. They are attached with 1 1⁄4″staples.
2 ply 3Ú8″” panels with double faced solid pine veneer. Inner frame 1″ x 4″ boards. Outer frame 1″ x
4″ boards are rabbetted to secure the panel insert.

Construction of door panels
Door panels are glued and nailed with 1 1⁄4″ staples, then clamped in hydraulic presses. The
hydraulic presses generate 90,000 pounds of pressure, bonding the plys of the panels together

with 140 – 180 psi. Panels that are not put together with hydraulic presses and the above specifications are not acceptable.

Final assembly
1⁄4” Meranti plywood backs are glued and stapled to side panels with 1 3⁄4″ full crown staples.
Top panel glued and screwed to sides with #8 x 2 1⁄2″ wood screws. Base screwed to sides with
#9 x 2 1⁄2″ wood screws. Each door hung with three 279-degree hinges with #6 x 5/8″ screws.
One double magnet for each door. Solid wood hanging rod – removable.
Door Pulls
Routed on CNC router.
No door knobs acceptable, handles must be routed not cut out.
